Help! I just stumbled on a Wee Peggy Spinning wheel, which was NEVER used by it's owner, but stored for a zillion years by the family. I can't wait to try her out, but I am missing the tension knob/spring setup. Also, no drive band, and missing the leather connector for the treadle. I can figure out how to make a treadle connector (leather shoelace), and driveband (cotton twine), but I'm stumped on how to replace the tension knob/spring. Does anyone know if parts are still available for these wheels anywhere? I'm sure they are still out there...tried researching on the net, but I'm not finding anything current. Anybody else out there have a Wee Peggy Wheel?
