I need some help. I'm not sure whether i'm understanding about treadle tie ups on a counter balance loom. If i press on treadle 1 it doesn't make 1 or 1&2 (as most drafts show) go up. It makes the shaft sink. So maybe I'm not reading the draft, the right way? How can you tie up treadles on a counter balance loom to make shaft 1 go up when you press treadle 1?
