I have found this loom - "L. MComber "ADD-A-HARNESS" LOOM with approximately 54" of weaving width. 16 harnesses sectional warp beam. "Loom 793" written on the loom " - on eBay and am trying to do some research before perhaps bidding on it.
I tried searching the web for "macomber loom" but have not found any actual information - just people selling different models. I don't know someone with experience on these looms.
Can you suggest where I can find something written up about this model loom? Or does someone have one, who might be able to answer questions? The seller is not a weaver and does not know enough to answer questions. One of my most pressing questions is, is this model able to be folded or disassembled partially for transport? I need to figure out if I can fit it into my Kia :-)
