On the Cambridge loom I bought, even though it had a rug on it, bizzarely enough it had a 15 dent reed. I know I want 10 or 12. I can find one here, but it's only 4 3/4 inch tall vs the 6 that's on it and who knows what a Cambridge came with eons ago. The thingy that holds the reed is adjustable, I took the reed out and it will go all the way to the bottom. QUESTION IS: what will it affect if I put a 4.75 vs 6 inch reed in there, will it affect the weaving? the ability to weave? Should I get a 6 inch or taller replacement and anyone know where taller ones come from. thanks. again. wendy
